Angel Food Ministry

Christian Challenge is excited to be a part of the Angel Food Ministries network. AFM began in 1994 as a small outreach ministry serving a rural community in Georgia. The goal was to help neighbors who needed a hand up in a tough economic time. Today, AFM can be found in over 3,200 communities in 34 states and helps feed over 500,000 families a month. AFM partners with churches and community organizations throughout the country to help distribute food to those in need. For $30.00* you can receive a box of food containing both fresh and frozen items. The food items are top quality – AFM buys food from major food producers throughout the country to ensure the best food comes to your table.

Here's how it works: Each month you place your order by the order deadline. Then, on distribution Saturday, you bring a large box to Christian Challenge during the distribution time to pick up your items. Below is a calendar for 2008 of the order deadlines and the distribution Saturdays:
