Dear Friend,

The spirit is not in the coffin. According to Scripture when a
believer dies they go immediately to be with the Lord. As for
judgment, all believers were already judged in Christ. He died
for their sins. For this reason there is no judgment for believers
to go to.
Cremation takes place after a person departs the body to be
with the Lord. Whether the body is cremated or buried has no
relationship to their spirit. The spirit leaves the body
immediately at death.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
