First we need to understand what makes a Christian, a Christian. Being a
Christian implies that you are a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
This means that you believe He is the Son of God, and the Savior of the world,
that He died for your sins, and resurrected from the dead, has ascended into
heaven, and that you have received Him as your personal Savior. This alone makes
you a Christian.

The rosary is something that religion gave you. Nowhere in the Scriptures are
Christians ever taught to pray the rosary. Nor are we ever taught to direct
prayers to Mary. But many Christians are so ill acquainted with the Bible, that
they don't know how to walk with the Lord in a proper manner. I would suggest
that you are become better acquainted with the Scriptures.

As for you being Protestant over Catholic, I agree that you've made the better
choice. The Roman system is far removed from Biblical Christianity.
