Hi Friend,

A Biblical fast actually pertains to food and drink. But if you would like
to set aside a time of consecration to the Lord by abstaining from tv, or
certain other distractions, that could be a good thing to do. With the
telephone you would need someone to answer it who could explain
your wish not to be disturbed for awhile. (You wouldn't want to ignore
any vital calls.)

With regard to abstaining from food and drink, that wouldn't be wise.
You would need to consult your doctor about this.
