For choice of music, yes, Christians should stay with gospel music.
But sometimes it isn't in your power to make that decision, such as
when dining out, etc. In those instances it is a matter of environment.

Worldly music carries in it the spirit of the world. It can have a
damaging effect on your spiritual life. To answer your question, no.
Christians should not involved themselves in worldly music in order
to reach others.
