You have been fed a line. But this kind of thinking is found in many 


religions. It is all about control. Religions like the UPC attempt keep 


their people in check with fear devices. The reason your walk with 


God seems much more grounded now is because you have found 


out something about Truth. Truth is not a denomination or a 


religion. Truth is a Person. 





What you need to understand is that the Lord did not come to give 


us religion. There is no religion on the planet that can say, 'We are 


the right religion.' All religion can do is give you religious things. 


Religious things are man-made things. Jesus came to give us a 


true relationship with the God of creation. This takes it entirely out 


of the realm of religion and into the realm of reality. 





As for the turning you back on truth, the only way you could do that 


would be to turn your back on Jesus Himself. You aren't going to do 


that. Jesus is the Truth. To walk with Him is to walk in Truth. To 


walk with Him is to realize what life is really all about. 





Don't worry about what the UPC may say. You are a child of God 


Most High. Just walk with Jesus. As far as which flock you need to 


be associated with, He will show you that.
