Some things taught by United Pentecostals are more cultural than Biblical. This
is what makes it difficult. You will find this true with many groups, such as
Mennonites, Mormons, and various others. The problem is when these 'cultural'
things began to be taught as Biblical truths, then it genders to bondage.

You asked how I was able to overcome 'the bible standard of women and
men in outward appearance?' I've always taught modesty in appearance,
simply because it is Scriptural. But I also believe in freedom of conscience.
All believers have the Holy Spirit. He will show each of us what is proper for
each situation. (Clothing, etc.)
