Tracy,
Thanks for writing.
You asked the following question:
> I am wanting to do a long term fast, something like 2-3 weeks.
> What should I be taking in the way of vitamins and juices so that
> I don't hurt myself physically. I look forward to your reply.
Some folk go on a 'full" fast which consists of neither eating or
drinking during the fast. (This is generally a short-term fast.) Others
use what is called the 'Daniel' fast, which is to cut back on certain
foods. Still others do what you are planning to do, which is to continue
to receive nourishment during the fast by drinking juices.
Fruit and vegetable juices do provide a great deal of the
nourishments our bodies require. Vegetarians do quite well in this
regard. However as for which vitamins you should take, it would be
wise for you to consult a pharmacist, or your personal physician.
There are too many unknown factors involved, such as your present
health, or if you are on medication, etc.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you have further questions
please feel free to write.
