For a Christian it is a matter of our thought life. Satan's temptations are upon our thought life. Paul said the mind set on the flesh is death. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. Not much I can add to that. Everything revolves around where we set our minds. But the apostle also said that we can train our senses to discern good and evil. You need to ask the Lord to educate you in this area. It is not something that another person can teach you. Also keep in mind that the warfare of the mind will always be an issue we must confront. There is a saying that if Satan can control our thought life he can control all our life. To overcome we must train our minds to think correctly.
