Your question is:

Afraid I can't help you much. I certainly don't find snake handling
very attractive.
As for why anyone would find Pentecostalism attractive, there are
various reasons. Pentecostals have a zeal for God that can be
contagious. Pentecostal worship tends to be lively. And
Pentecostals do present ideas of holiness that can be quite
attractive to someone coming out of the world. All these things
combined make for quite a package. But most folk are little
equipped to understand the extremes of Pentecostalism.
